My dearest husband moved Olivia and I when she was only 2 weeks old. We couldn't have done it without all the family help. I am sure they were anxious to help because that put Livy closer to them. It has been a blessing to live in Bountiful. We love having all the love, support and babysitters! I don't think we could have made it while we were struggling to find out why Livy was so sick. Now she is a beautiful, chunky cheek, healthy girl. As long as I don't eat anything with milk protein.
Now we are taking our little family and moving.

That is right we will be moving our little sack of potatoes to Idaho. Through prayer and some wrestling with the idea we are going to go back to school in Rexburg. Travis is going to work on a Masters program in International Relations which he is so excited to do. He wants to advance his Mandarin speaking skills. YIKES!! I think I will stick with speaking Spanish. We will be moving on August 15th and 16th.
We are so sad to be leaving everyone we love here in Utah. But we are excited for all the people we get to meet and we aren't too far away. EVERYONE can come visit. Since we will only be there a couple years we will be renting a house.
Here are some pros to moving:
- The house is right by campus.
- We didn't finish unpacking from the move to Bountiful
- Kelly canyon ski resort is super close and Grand Targhee is not too far away. (this year while skiing I shall not be 8 months prego)
- the best part of moving is we get to go to the Rexburg Temple!!! So beautiful, so fabulous to still live close to a temple
Our moving saga shall be continued. . .

I am so terrible sad, yet excited for your little family. What an adventure this will be. And maybe my first visit ever to Rexburg will have to be to come and see you. If you need help with anything just let me know. Love ya!
What a blessing to have been able to get to know you. Your legacy will live on at RMAP, particularly your method of eating M&M's (I have not personally witnessed the masterpiece, but have heard it's quite impressive). I expect visits to us in Utah and I hope my home state will treat you as deserved. You are so great, Amy!!!!
Yippee! Welcome to Idaho! I know it's hard to move away from family and friends but you guys will have so much fun and have such great growing experiences in Rexburg that in a few years, you'll be sad to be leaving Idaho. If you need anything we're just a few hours away. Oh and you're going to LOVE Targhee!
I am jealous!! Some of my good friends live in Rigby, and our plan is to move up there someday. I love it up there!! And we have been to the Rexburg temple it is beautiful!!! I know I haven't seen you for awhile and we lost touch, but I will still miss you and we better stay in touch...
I can totally sympathize with the moving thing. It was pretty hard to leave the family back home. (And I never thought I was a Momma's Girl...but those first two weeks were rough.) I'm excited for you guys though. Going back to school should be an adventure for you guys! I'm excited to hear how things go!
