FOOTBALL

So I am really late with this post but now that I am on vacation and around family(babysitters) maybe I can get a minute to catch up. Today the BYU football bowl game will be on. Now I know most of you are thinking that I am not a BYU fan, well you would be right. However, my dearest husband went to the Y and bleeds blue. So with all my love I watch BYU play and enjoy it until they play the U of U and my true colors come out.
When our two teams got together this year we were lucky enough to have Tyson, Julie and Dana staying with us. That means FOOTBALL party!!
I must admit I love to throw a themed party. . .actually I just love any excuse to have a party with friends and family.
In excitement for tonights game I am going to make a football cheeseball that I made for the BYU vs. U of U game. I thought now is a good time to post some of our party pics from that great rivalry and ultimate win for my team.
This is my football cheeseball and crackers.

Yes, in true Utah fashion I made green jell-o (no carrots)
These are little cupcakes with the 50 yard field line and blue and red flags.

The basic table set up. You can't really see but the juices are red and blue.

Yes, Livy is wearing a BYU shirt, but that is because Travis bought it for her, I guess we shall see who she really likes when she grows up. . .maybe she will choose an ivy league school and leave her dad and I in the dust. . .be super brilliant. . . get rich . . .and laugh at her parent's petty little rivalry.

I absolutely love a good football party and it looks like you know how to throw one! Too bad BYU can't win a game!

Oh I LOVE that you married a BYU fan!! Your marriage is just like mine only opposite. But Jer isn't just a U fan, he's a Y hater!! So you can imagine the fights we have!! Too bad the Y lost their bowl game. It was a real bummer.. Cute christmas card by the way!!

You have turned quite domestic!! I'm so impressed. Perhaps we'll have you over for dinner and you can cook it. Just kidding. We're excited to see you next week.
