2008 to 2009
What a great year 2008 has been. We moved from Holladay, Utah to Bountiful, Utah then to Rexburg, Idaho. I think the goal is to not move throughout the upcoming year. We have owned several more cars and sold our Toyota Sequoia yesterday. But those are just little things that happened this past year.
The biggest thing, and best thing that has happened to us since getting married, is we have the sweetest, cutest, most adorable baby girl, EVER! Olivia Judith Barney came into our lives April 10, 2008 and has been "the apple of our eyes" ever since. She is now 8 months old and can say, "mama", "dada", and "duck, duck". (her travel bathtub is a quacking duck)--shows how often we travel. She walks with little or no assistance, she waves, she claps and says "YAY!" She also dances and sings to music, and her daddy is convinced she will be downhill skiing by the end of this season. WE ARE GONNA CALL GUINESS! (I think, maybe not this season)
In the upcoming posts we will update everyone on our wonderful Holiday vacation.
But right now, I need to do the annual New Year resolution list. These are not in any particular order of importance.
1. Of course lose weight-being prego was way too much fun and I ate, and was lazy. Now I am thinking it is time to get back into shape. We have P90X and both Travis and I are dedicated to getting those HOT BODIES! So please feel free to ask how it is going and hopefully that will help keep us motivated.
2. We are going to go to the temple much more often. ALL THE TIME!! We live right by the beautiful, new Rexburg temple. WOOHOO!
3. We are doing the Spudman Triathlon in July. Which means training, training and training. Travis did it two years ago but I was nauseated and pregnant so I am ready to put that on my list of things I have done.
4. Travis and I have also committed to doing a better job of communicating with one another.
5. Regular Family Home Evening and scripture study.
So, in 6 months we should both be thin, super triathletes, with impressive spiritual auras that talk to each other.
LOVE YOU ALL and may this year be a great one for each of you (Travis adds: And may the force be with you)
