So today, we were out walking and Livy wanted to walk by herself. Well, the weather is warmer today and not so icy so I set her down and off she went. She was having a blast walking on the sidewalk around the neighborhood. Then she stopped. She turned to her side and started walking faster and faster. I couldn't figure out what she was doing. I stopped her from walking over the edge of the curb and walked hand in hand with her to the center of the sidewalk. Again, she stopped looked to the side of her and started walking to the right faster and faster. Finally, I got it. Her shadow was on the right side of her and she was trying to catch it. She doesn't understand that it is her shadow all she saw was something moving and she was going to get it. Faster and faster to catch her shadow. Now that is one funny thing to watch. I love watching my "little scientist" discover the world around her.

Wow, I cannot believe she is walking. I'm thinking Caleb wont be walking for a long time. He will hardly even eat, the little stinker.
