Today was the special day, after a short nap, Liv woke up and said she needed to go "pee pee" so I helped her in the bathroom and a few minutes later. . .success!!!
We shouted in excitement and had a little "I'm a big girl!" dance. SO much fun.
I don't expect perfection every day and I am still not pushing it but I love that she wants to. Any potty training advice is greatly appreciated since I have NO idea what I am doing.
Just a little side note of cuteness. I was sitting on our couch visiting with Travis and Olivia came and started playing with my hair. It was still damp from my shower and she laughed at the wet, cool feeling. Then she started petting my hair and calling it pretty. That really just made my day, so everyone out there, "I am Pretty!!"

My only potty training advice is praise praise praise - and let them lead. ;) I know - not very helpful. I pretty much just wait till they want to do it and they are done in a day;) - I guess that is advice too right - just wait till they do it themselves;)
First off-you are beautiful and good for Liv that she's noticed it!
I have no advice as we are going through potty training ourselves. We set out Libby's potty in our bathroom several months ago and let her get used to it. The past couple of days she's starting to tell us "pee" and then pull her diaper off so we make a mad dash to the bathroom. Sometimes we're successful and sometimes we're not. I've always been told to wait until the child is ready and we're figuring Libby is ready. Libby prefers to be naked while using the potty so she's been running around in just a diaper these past few days. We also use marshmallows-Libby's choice for the potty reward. If you come up with any great ideas, let me know!
awww :) you are pretty! I love sweet compliments from little ones. good luck with the potty training, hope to see you soon ! :)
I would be the last to give potty training advice! Sorry! She's already doing better than Lizzie. She does the whole "I need to go potty" thing but she has never pooped or peed in the potty.
We missed you at Sunday dinner - Cami said you went out of town. Can we plan on this Sunday?
